A New Year | A New Day

As the end of a busy work season comes to a close I always find myself counting the days until Frank and I can resume our (mostly) free time to catch-up on projects that have gone by the wayside. I seriously did not think I was going to make it this year. Moab tourism has grown to crazy proportions and this is definitely not the sleepy little town it once was.

Remodeling the RV

Workin’ in a Coal Mine

It’s the new year now, and we have made it through yet another crazy season. Both Frank and I are collectively working on taking a deep breath as we explore the possibilities for 2020. The RV remodel is coming along (slowly I might add), but I am very pleased with the direction we are headed.

The day bed is in and looks great, but we still have a ways to go on that project. It’s all pretty exciting, and I cannot wait to share pics. Remodeling a small space, which one has lived in for five plus years while running a small business is a bit challenging to say the least.

We still have a ways to go before we are ready to hit the road this summer, but after all it is about the journey rather than the destination is it not? I am truly looking forward to sharing our coming adventure with you, as well as a little about where we have been and how we stumble through this crazy thing called life. Our future posts will include topics on….

  • Remodel successes and mishaps
  • Our travels
  • Foraging
  • Boondocking hacks
  • Small space living

Frank and I have been living simply for about 15 years now with the majority of that time 100% off the grid. Through trial and error we have learned a lot about conserving our resources and minimizing our carbon footprint. We hope you will follow us as we share how we now are incorporating those methods into RV living.
